The Discone™ DC-55 is well suited for contractors and residential tree care professionals.  An extra big welded in feed chute and a throat opening of 15" high  by 19" wide at the dual feed wheels handles small whole trees and brush with ease.  Rugged and durable enough to feed with a skid steer or crane.

Discone™ (patent pending) technology combines the best aspects of a disc (inertia and discharge) with all the advantages of the patented Cone-Head® drum.  Unlike disc chippers, the Discone™ will process palm fronds, vines, and brush with ease, and knife changes only takes 10 minutes.  Heavy duty simple design, built for industrial use and easy to maintain.

Since its introduction 2 years ago, the Discone ™ DC-50 and DC-55 have proven to be extremely efficient, highly productive machines.  Owners are experiencing significant fuel savings, less vibration, longer knife life, smooth feeding, minimum trimming, easy maintenance, and many other advantages over conventional disc and drum style chippers.
