Brown Bear Equipment

Recycling & Composting Equipment Pty Ltd
Sole Australian and New Zealand Distributor

COMPOSTING:

Brown Bear aerators are being successfully operated in composting operations for wastewater sludge, yard waste and animal manure. The aerator is an effective and economical means of aerating windrows. It is also a rapid way of mixing dissimilar material prior to windrowing.
BB is the only turner that builds its own windrows initially and does not require space for travel between each row as the rows are moved with each turn – this demonstrates the ability of the turner to turn ALL the material in each row, each turn.

LOW MAINTENANCE

The aerator is simple in design. The principle as a material mover has been proven with over 10 years as a sludge drying and composting tool. The intermittent aerator flights are reversible and bolt on, constructed from abrasion resistant carbon steel. Continuous flight aerators are also available on the SC3110, SC 3610 & SC3912 for a more gentle rotation action.

Using Brown Bear Equipment

Brown Bear Corporation over the last 25 years have been designing and developing a superior type of windrow turner that gets the correct amount of “fluff” and oxygen into a windrow to ensure that temperatures rise to an acceptable level to commence the process of turning green waste and manure into safe and manageable compost for the end user to handle with confidence.
